Meet Your Hosts
Your hosts, the Dudgeon’s, know Alaska well. They have called “The Great Land” home
for 25 years. Our work and play have taken us from the emerald rain forests of the
Inside Passage to the windswept ice pack of the Chukchi Sea. Greg has been adopted
into two Native Alaskan cultures. Our three children have been given Eskimo names
by Inupiat Elders. Sherry has anchored our family in 6 remote Alaskan communities—including
“the bush” - and has embraced frigid winters north of the Arctic Circle with infant
children. We love Alaska, and want to share our passion for this place with you,
our guests.
We presently have two Labrador Retrievers who are part of our family. They are restricted
to the main living area only. You are welcome to play and walk with them, they just
can’t go home with you...
